Drawing & Talking

Drawing and Talking Therapeutic Technique is a safe method of working with children to help with underlying emotional difficulties that may be affecting their learning and behaviour. Children will be encouraged to draw and will be asked non intrusive questions about their drawing. The child sets the pace and decides what to draw. Drawing and Talking is a serial drawing technique which takes place over 12 consecutive weeks. Participants will be expected to draw but no special artistic abilities are necessary. A child who suffers from moderate to severe symptoms should be referred to CAMHs. Fortunately, Drawing and Talking is also designed to complement the work of CAMHs, or other specialist Therapists.
